Miriam Juckett is the Senior Program Manager of the Environmental Protection and External Hazards Assessment Program at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) in San Antonio. Her responsibilities include overseeing projects, developing new business opportunities, and serving as the primary liaison between clients and SwRI for projects in these areas.
For 15 years, she has supported many projects for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and other clients, including safety evaluations, environmental evaluations, natural hazard assessments, and regulatory guidance development related to storage, transportation, and disposal of radiological materials.
Miriam is an avid traveler and hiker, a slow but dedicated runner, and an enthusiastic public speaker. She has been honored in San Antonio Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and as a TEDx San Antonio speaker.
